Review:
I'm a lover of all things mystery. I especially love when a novel can surprise me in the end. Unfortunately, this one did not. I was able to determine who Mr. Smith was pretty early in the book, but it didn't really ruin the book for me. Once I was finally able to connect with Evie as a character, I felt I was able to enjoy the ride a bit more. I felt this started as a mystery novel, but quickly turned spy/hitman rather quickly.
While I didn't hate the book, it's not one that I would quickly recommend when someone is looking for a good book to read. But, it holds its own as a novel and I'm sure some will love it.
Rating: 3 out of 5 cups of tea for this one!
